April has been selected as National Autism Awareness Month. In supporting the awareness of Autism, I would like to share my experience and education on the topic. But first some statistics. Referenced from autismspeaks.org says
“In 2023, the CDC reported that approximately 1 in 36 children in the US is diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD,) according to 2020 data. Boys are four times more likely to be diagnosed with autism than girls.”
The tacanow.org states: “autism prevalence has increased 317% since 2000.”
Why is all this happening to our innocent children? This is where I’d like to chime in. Back when I was in school, there was never a student, child, friend called or referred to as autistic. Which explains the rare mention of the disease because according to ADDM (Autism and Development Disabilities Monitoring Network) in 1970, 1 in 10,000 had been labeled with autism.
So why the surge since 1970? Doesn’t lifestyle and environment causing toxicities sound like the biggest culprit? That is what has changed dramatically since 1970 - see the trend!?! I am not a scientist, doctor, statistician
, nor do I claim to be . . . but common sense seems to be weighing in for me. The following have greatly increased since 1970:
Heavy metal exposure
Standard American Diet (processed food)
Vaccination schedule increased (according to www.childrenshealthdefense.org (1986=12 shots, 25 antigens, 8 diseases versus 2019=54 shots, 70 antigens, 16 diseases)
If this is all new information to you, check it out, be informed and stand up to the over burdens to our children, our future!
My education in detox and wellness has encouraged me to bring treatment modalities to assist client’s in their own self care. Educating the importance of opening detox pathways, encouraging better eating & drinking practices, and providing the tools needed to help rid the body of toxins. Our studio provides:
Ion detox foot bath
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
I do not like medically labeling people because all to often they become their label and that is not the goal. The goal is to become balanced, healthy and resilient. Since we are giving awareness to autism this month, I would like to offer a treatment bundle that has been shown to improve autism, as well as people with brain injuries, cognitive decline, diabetic wounds, pre and post surgery, anti-aging & longevity.
Here is the Deal:
Buy one Ozone Ear Insufflation package (10, 20, 40) and get the same amount of session package in HBOT half-off! What!?! Those are AMAZING DEALS! The HBOT packages are already discounted (10-20%) so you can see the savings. To book online, schedule a single HBOT or Ozone Ear Insufflation, then click packages and choose the package you'd like to purchase. Schedule the first session and then when you come in for your appointment we can schedule the rest.
What is ozone ear insufflation and how does it help? During Ozone therapy, medical grade oxygen, (O2) is converted to ozone (O3). Ozone is a colorless gas consisting of three oxygen molecules and is commonly known as activated or super charged oxygen. It can’t enter the bloodstream in several ways (ear canal, rectum or intravenously). When ozone enters the cells in the body, it splits into O2, leaving the single and unstable third molecule to neutralize all other unstable pathogens, such as bacteria, yeast, fungi, mold, and even parasites. Benefits: reduces brain fog by improving oxygen flow to the brain, oxidizes and decreases harmful pathogens found in the ear canal and sinus passages, pain reduction in ear and sinus passageways, decrease sinus and ear passageway inflammation, improves the utilization and flow of oxygen in the ear, anti-microbial.
What is HBOT? HBOT, or hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a simple procedure that consists of entering a HBOT chamber and experiencing an increase in pressure to 1.3 ATA. The increase in oxygen provided by HBOT is enough to help the body’s innate ability to heal and regenerate faster than allowing the process to happen naturally. The pressure forces oxygen into the plasma fluid and lymph, allowing oxygen to seep easily through any restricted areas caused by swelling, inflammation, or injury. Under normal circumstances, the red blood cells would block the blood vessel and the area would be starved of oxygen hence, causing cell and tissue deterioration. Off-label conditions that can benefit from HBOT: concussion, mild traumatic brain injury, post-surgical healing, Autonomic Dysregulation, pain, Lyme, Crohn’s/IBS, sports injury/athletic recovery, ADHD spectrum/learning disabilities, multiple sclerosis, migraines, depression, autoimmune disease, neuropathy/nerve injury, musculoskeletal injury, burns/wound healing, post concussion syndrome, autism, headaches.
As I read this list of benefits for both modalities, it is simply amazing that something so enjoyable and relaxing can help a person heal. It's time ...(minutes, hours), that one needs to give the body to allow this healing to take place. Slow down . . . breathe . . . relax . . . and let the body do what it knows best while giving it the tools to speed the process.
