YourLabWork.com was created by Dr. Alan Hopkins–an ER doctor, anti-aging expert and consultant to biomarker companies–who saw increasing numbers of patients coming into his ER with cancer, heart attacks, strokes and complications from diabetes … most preventable through food and lifestyle choices … AND at younger and younger ages. Dr. Alan started YourLabWork because he believes so strongly in the need for access to thorough, complete labs as part of our proactive and preventative health care, so that we can spot and work to resolve problems BEFORE we become symptomatic.

Please note: I am not a medical doctor and I cannot receive lab results from the lab, read or interpret labs, or diagnose or treat any medical condition!
But what I can do is share with you Dr. Alan’s optimal functional ranges for labs, guide you to resources to help you understand your labs; share with you food, lifestyle and supplement changes you may want to consider based on your lab results and share anything I see that raises potential concerns or red flags that you may want to investigate further or discuss with your doctor.
I offer 2 options for helping you with your labs
Why am I telling you this? Because I will be there with you the whole way through as your support person. I am not a doctor. I am your personal Integrative nutrition health coach assisting you with how and what to ask your doctor when you receive your lab result back. It's all about teamwork and getting to the root cause of why "you aren't feeling amazing!" AMAZING is the key word. You want to feel better than "normal" you want to feel "OPTIMAL!"
Option 1:
ONE-TIME LAB REVIEW
A 75-90 minute consultation to help you review your lab results, share some great resources to help you understand your results; discuss food, lifestyle and supplement changes you may want to consider and flag any potential concerns you may want to investigate further or discuss with your doctor.
Our consultation will be held in person or, for remote clients, via Facetime or phone call.
I CANNOT RECEIVE LAB RESULTS FROM YOUR DOCTOR, A LAB (INCLUDING YOURLABWORK.COM) OR ANYONE EXCEPT YOU! YOU MUST SEND ANY LABS TO BE REVIEWED TO ME AT LEAST 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE OF OUR SCHEDULE CONSULTATION, TO ALLOW ME SUFFICIENT TIME TO REVIEW THEM.
Option 2:
LAB SUPPORT PACKAGE
If you prefer to have help navigating the process of deciding which labs you need and ordering them, I also offer a lab package which includes two separate consultations. You fill out an Intake Form in advance of our first consult, to help me get to know you and your health concerns and goals. Then we have a 50-60 minute consultation to discuss your needs and the labs which you may want to consider to help further your goals.
Following our consultation, you order the labs you choose through yourlabwork.com. Upon receipt of your lab results (sent to you via email–usually within 7-10 days of your draw), you send them on to me. When I receive your results, I’ll schedule a convenient time for you for our second 75-90 minute consult. This consultation is to help you review and understand your lab results; discuss food, lifestyle or supplement changes you may want to consider and to flag any potential concerns you may want to investigate further or discuss with your doctor.
Labs to be reviewed must be sent to me at least 48 hours in advance of our scheduled consultation, to allow me sufficient time to review them.
Our consultations will be held via Facetime or phone call.
